MeetingORBAN UNVEILS NEW FM STEREO MODULATORRandy Phillips, CSTE Chris Holt of Orban will be demonstrating the new OPTIMOD-FM 8400. This latest model in a long line of industry-standard modulators contains new signal processing innovations that redefine the state-of-the-art in FM on-air processing. New features of the 8400 include easy software upgrades via the internet, automation, multi-band processing, network connectivity, memory card backup, and enhanced digital data features. Join us at the new facilities of KBNT/XHUPN. Our host, Phil Wilkinson, has graciously allowed us use and tour privileges on Wednesday night, October 18, at 7:00 pm. As usual, a time of snacks and conversation will start at 6:00 pm. Chapter 36's regular business meeting will occupy us for a few minutes at 7 sharp and then Chris will share his presentation and demonstration of the Optimod. Bring your ears and those of a friend. From SR-163: Exit on Clairemont Mesa Blvd. eastbound and proceed to Ruffin Rd. Turn north (left) on Ruffin and go three blocks. Studio will be on the left between Chesapeake and Kearny Villa Rd.
